New project: Modular loading platform with 10 loading bays

As transportation volumes continue to grow, companies are looking for ways to increase warehouse throughput without extensive reconstruction. One such project was successfully completed by AUSBAU for its customer by optimising the loading and unloading area for light commercial vehicles without expanding the facility.
platforms for vans and commercial vehicles

The main objective of the project was to organise the loading and unloading of light commercial vehicles using manual pallet trucks. To achieve this, it was necessary to compensate for the height difference between the dock leveller (1200 mm) and the vehicle cargo floor (approximately 500 mm). The project included the construction of a loading complex with 10 loading bays. This solution significantly increased the warehouse throughput without requiring additional warehouse space.Modular loading ramps

For this project, two loading platforms PLT-SPCL6 were manufactured and equipped with stairways and protective hand railings with a height of 1100 mm. To ensure smooth movement of manual pallet trucks, the working surface was made of chequer plate. A tent cover was installed above the platforms, while the side sections were fitted with rubber bumpers to protect the structure during vehicle manoeuvring.

The project also included a fixed loading ramp ST equipped with two pairs of mobile support jacks. This solution made it possible to compensate for uneven ground and ensure the stability of the entire structure.

As a result, the customer received a modern loading complex that enables faster vehicle handling, reduces vehicle waiting times, and improves the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics.
